At the Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield, we believe that active kids are happy, healthy kids! Our recreation programs are designed to build confidence, teamwork, and lifelong fitness habits—while having a ton of fun. From splashing in the pool to wrestling on the mat or passing the ball down the field, there’s something for every age, every interest, and every skill level. Whether your child is just getting started or wants to take their passion to the next level, they’ll find their place—and their people—right here.

  • Make a splash in our outdoor pool and splash pad with seasonal swim programs from June through September designed for all ages and abilities. Whether your child is learning to swim, building on existing skills, or just looking to enjoy open swim time, our certified instructors and lifeguards ensure a safe and encouraging environment.

  • The pool is restricted for summer camp use only from 9 am – 4:00 pm each weekday during the summer. It is also used exclusively by Powers Aquatics for swim lessons on Tuesday-Thursday afternoons. 

    Community Swim times are as follows: 

    • Mondays*: 4 pm-7 pm

    • Fridays*: 4 pm-7 pm

    • Saturdays & Sundays: 12 pm-5 pm

    *Note that the pool may be reserved for special events on some Mondays and Fridays. The weekly pool schedule will be published on social media each week. 

    Fee: $5/child and $10/adult 

    Payable via credit card at the pool clubhouse – no cash is accepted!

    • All children must pass a swim test before swimming in the deep end. Lifeguards on duty will conduct the swim test on-site. 

    • The outdoor pool facilities will close in the event of lightning and/or thunder and remain closed 30 minutes after the last report of either.

  • $50/day | $200/week
    A meaningful and exciting experience for future leaders in grades 6-8. Campers participate in daily field trips and activities that focus on leadership skills, teamwork, and giving back to the community—all while having a great time and building confidence.

  • Our community pool facility provides easy-to-access stairs for entering and exiting the water for those with challenging disabilities, as well as a lift with the convenience of a chair seat for lifting and lowering patrons with limited mobility. The on-deck shower and bathrooms are also conveniently located and accessible from a wheelchair.

  • Step onto the mat and discover what you’re made of! The Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield’s Youth Wrestling Program runs on select evenings throughout the fall and winter, offering a supportive, high-energy environment where kids learn more than just takedowns—they build resilience, discipline, and confidence. Wrestling teaches body control, mental toughness, and focus, all of which are transferable to any sport—and to life. Whether your child is new to the sport or looking to sharpen their skills, our coaches help them grow as athletes and individuals, one match at a time.   • The South Shore Sharks are coming to the Club! Get ready to run, pass, and tackle (safely!) in our intro to co-ed youth rugby program. This fast-paced, team-focused sport teaches strategy, sportsmanship, and agility in a non-contact format for younger players. It’s the perfect mix of fun, fitness, and friendship—rugby style! This program is suitable for all levels and youth in grades K-6. Prior experience not required. Registration is currently closed; please check back here for a link when registration reopens!

  • Pickleball is for everyone—really! BGCM’s indoor gymnasium boasts 3 pickleball courts for both rental and registered play. Our family pickleball sessions offer a great way for parents and kids to stay active together while learning a new sport. Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned server, grab a paddle and hit the court for a little family-friendly fun and exercise.

  • DISPORT – verb, to enjoy oneself unrestrainedly; to frolic

    Looking for a fun, active, and engaging way for your child, age 3-6, to stay healthy and confident? Pathway 2 Health runs this exciting kids-only fitness program at the Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield!✨ Thursdays | 1-2pm✨ Saturdays | 10-11am. Through sports, gymnastics, and movement-based play, kids will develop essential motor skills, strength, and self-confidence while having a blast!  Register here.

  • No pressure, just play! Our pick-up basketball games give kids and teens a chance to get in the game, practice their skills, and enjoy some friendly competition. Sessions are open to different age groups and skill levels. Open gym available for ages 11 and over. Snacks are available for purchase. Complete the release form and payment ahead of time here.

    Sundays 2-4, $5 drop in fee.
