What is School Age Child Care (SACC)

School Age Child Care (SACC) is a before-school program licensed by the State of Massachusetts’ Department of Early Education and Care and run by the Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield (BGCM) SACC’s designated staff. They provide an individualized experience for K-5 youth through programming rooted in BGCM’s mission. SACC participants receive access to discounted programming and special events at the Club. To register, the child must be enrolled in one of the five Marshfield elementary schools: Daniel Webster Elementary, Governor Winslow Elementary, South River Elementary, Eames Way Elementary, or Martinson Elementary. The SACC program accepts daycare vouchers. Choose on-site care at any of the five elementary schools or sign up for Afternoons at The Clubhouse.

All SACC staff members evaluate the educational and emotional needs of each enrolled child to provide personalized support to each youth. If your child requires additional support, please indicate this to staff as early as possible so we can set your child up for a successful experience.

Before the Bell

Before the Bell is our Licensed SACC program that runs from 7 am - 8:45 am in all of Marshfield’s Elementary schools. Students are supervised by qualified SACC staff and kick off their morning with breakfast, homework help, and/or various games & activities before the start of their day.
