Capital Campaign Project: Teen Center
The Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield is launching a Capital Campaign to fund the construction of a new Teen Center, a dedicated space designed specifically to support the unique needs of our adolescent members. This project comes at a critical moment: teens across our region—and the nation—are facing an unprecedented mental health crisis.

Invest in Our Youth
Invest in Our Youth
At the Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield, we’ve seen firsthand how safe spaces, strong mentors, and structured programs can make all the difference. Last year alone, we served over 1,200 youth in the South Shore area—and our teen population continues to grow. Yet, our current space simply cannot meet the increasing demand for teen-specific support.

This is more than a building—it is a lifeline for the teens who need us most.
To make this vision a reality, we need your help. We are seeking generous partners to invest in this critical project. Your donation will directly support construction costs, program development, and mental health resources that can positively impact hundreds of local teens every year.
Our new Teen Center will include what teens want and need:
Safe social environments that foster belonging and resilience
Dedicated spaces for mental health and wellness programming
A beautiful space just for teens where they can eat, study, create, or just hang out together
Mentorship and leadership training opportunities

Grades 5-8
Torch Club is a national Boys & Girls Clubs of America program designed for youth ages 11 to 14 (grades 5-8), focusing on leadership, service, and character development during a pivotal time in their growth. This small-group club within the Club empowers younger adolescents to build essential 21st-century skills like teamwork, responsibility, and integrity.
-
Torch Club members meet regularly to plan and lead projects in four key areas: service to Club and community, education, health and fitness, and social recreation. Members elect officers, work collaboratively, and take ownership of their club’s impact.
Each year, chartered Torch Clubs are invited to participate in Climate SuperStars, an online environmental challenge sponsored by Samsung Electronics America, where Clubs can win exciting prizes like Galaxy tablets and large-screen TVs.
Torch Club is a great way for middle schoolers to step into leadership roles and make a meaningful difference—both inside and outside the Club.
Grades 9-12
Keystone Club is the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s premier teen leadership program, designed for youth ages 14 to 18 (grades 9-12.) This national program helps teens build leadership skills, explore college and career pathways, and make a meaningful impact through community service.
-
Guided by an adult advisor, Keystone Club members meet regularly to plan and lead projects focused on three key areas: academic success, career preparation, and community service. Whether they’re volunteering locally or organizing teen-centered events, Keystoners take charge, step up, and grow into confident leaders.
Each year, Keystone members from across the globe come together at the National Keystone Conference—a one-of-a-kind event filled with leadership workshops, peer networking, and personal growth opportunities.
Keystone Club is open to all teens, whether or not they’re current Boys & Girls Club members. If you’re ready to lead, give back, and prepare for your future, Keystone is the place to start.
Fostering growth as capable leaders for tomorrow, great futures start here!

The Junior Leadership Program (JLP)
The Boys & Girls Club Junior Leadership Program (JLP) for students in grades 6 through 8 is an after-school program that provides opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, and community service. JLP Advisors and staff empower young people to become responsible citizens and leaders in their communities while simultaneously celebrating their desire to “just be a kid.”
Participants engage in weekly activities focused on communication, teamwork, problem-solving, decision-making, responsibility, character development, and FUN.
Tweens gain confidence in their abilities and are equipped with tools to make positive contributions to their communities.
JLP Includes opportunities to participate in the Boys & Girls Club National Torch Club: a program focused on community service projects, leadership training, and educational activities that promote civic responsibility.
